Winter sports destinations

At Neckermann you book a ski holiday to the popular Austria, France Italy or Switzerland. Even lesser-known winter sports countries such as the Czech Republic offer plenty of choice. Finally, Germany is popular for a short ski, ideal for a weekend on the slopes in Wintersport Arena Sauerland. The most popular ski area is of course Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang Fieberbrunn in Austria or Zell am See in Kaprun. Prefer a lesser known destination? Les Trois Vallées and Paradiski (La Plagne) in France are also popular among the Dutch. Still want something less massive? Try Ski Amadé or Zillertal in Austria, or the upcoming Dolomiti Superski (Val Gardena) in Italy. For more inspiration, check out our overview of ski areas.

Bahariya Oasis & crystal mountain Tour

Safari Trips in Egypt Sahara Desert for 3 day 2 nights Egypt Western Desert tours to Bahariya Oasis. Explore the pretty of the Black Mountains, Ain El Muftella, the English House, White Desert, Crystal Mountain, Valley of Agabat and Valley of El Haize.
one of the most amazing and adventure tour to visit Crystal Mountain Egypt with the expectation of seeing a giant mountain rising up out of the desert. This is actually a ridge that forms between Bahariya Oasis  and Farafra oasis in the Egyptian Western desert !!

The program itinerary

Day 01: Cairo To Bahariya Oasis
An overnight expedition to the Western desert of Egypt with private modern vehicle and expert tour guide to Bahariya Oasis approx.
360 Km south west of Cairo. Once you arrive there you will enjoy walking around the old village of Bahariya oasis to wander palms & fruit trees.
Then move to the Black Mountains, explore the sand dunes and the salt lake then Continue to visit the Temple of Ain El Muftella and watch the the ruins ‘the English House’.

Enjoy the sunset scenic view then transfer to the White Desert & overnight in camp.

Day 02: More Adventure of Bahariya
Shortly after breakfast you will head to visit the Crystal Mountain to admire the volcanic rocks & the petrified wood in Agabat Valley. Some of the definite must-sees of Crystal Mountain Egypt would be the crystals that have almost an oblong or square-like shape. If they were green, these groupings would look very much like Kryptonite of Superman fame. However, these crystals are clear or cloudy white.
Crystal Mountain is about 90 km from Farafra, about 160 km from Bahariya, and 10 km from Agabat, which is the closest settlement. Tour
busses leave from surrounding areas, so you

should be able to reach the mountain no matter where you may be staying.
Be sure to see the natural crystal arch, which has formed in the ridge. It is high enough that you can stand under it. Additionally, watch for the crystal formations that spring up in the desert all around the mountain.Crystal Mountain is located between the Bahariya and Farafra areas. It is not close to any cities. You cannot expect to walk to the area on foot. In fact, the mountain is really only reachable by specialty tour. Most accommodations in the larger cities nearby will arrange a tour for you if you would like to visit Crystal Mountain. Even some restaurants in Farafra will have regular tour busses that head to the mountain.
Proceed onto the Black Desert and El Haize with its splendid hot spring. Then transfer back to the campsite at Al Haiz for overnight stay. .

Hawaii Interesting Facts

Hawaii is comprised completely of volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean. While these are some basic facts about these amazing islands, you really need to take a look at the state deeper to find out some interesting and not well known things.

Little Known Facts About Hawaii

Before become a state Hawaii was kingdom. The first King of Hawaii was a man named Kamehameha the Great. The kingdom was established with help from the British between the years of 1795 and 1810. The monarch oversaw the Privy Council which handled the administration of the kingdom. This system had ministers which oversaw different departments and was based on the British political system. These administrators also acted as advisors to the monarch. Throughout the 1800s the powers of the monarch declined until eventually a bicameral parliament was established.

This reign of the first king is still celebrated on Hawaii on June 11th as King Kamehameha the First Day. This day is the only holiday established during the monarchy and has been celebrated since it was established in 1871. The holiday includes a traditional floral parade with horses and riders adorned in flowers. In addition there are hula competitions and music festivals with local food, history and community activities. The parade traditionally occurs down the Akoni Pule highway and continues to the Kohala Cultural Center. This event is great for visitors looking for cultural history and facts about Hawaii.

Geological Facts About Hawaii

Hawaii contains many live volcanoes and is one of the most studied geological places in the world. One of these unique features is Halemaumau, a pit crater, found in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. At the national park visitors can find many interesting facts about Hawaii and volcanoes in general. On display are the results of years of volcanic evolution on the Big Island. Guests can tour the park can camp there and go to the many events that highlight the history and unique geological aspects of the island.

On the Big Island there are five volcanoes Kohala, Mauna Kea, Hualalai, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea. Hualalai, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea are all active volcanoes and in some places you can actually see the lava flowing. All of Hawaii was formed by volcanoes and the islands continue to move and grow. This makes this State unique in the U.S. and many tourists go to Hawaii to see mother earth in action.
